Hojicha Tea

Hojicha Tea

A powerful green tea with a nutty, robust flavor, hojicha is made from bancha leaves that are roasted to give the tea a brownish color and its characteristic flavor. It is a slow roast which gives slight caramel and nutty notes. Some even taste a hint of chocolate.
